There are around 4,000 people on a waiting list for a family doctor in Peterborough city and county.
The Virtual Care Clinic in downtown Peterborough is addressing that issue, but without new funding, it will close early next year.
As Mark Giunta reports, the Peterborough Family Health Team and city council are calling on the province to step in.
