Protestors demand more wheelchair access in Verdun

A few dozen people came together at the corner of Wellington and De L’Eglise in Verdun on Saturday to protest and denounce local politicians and businesses for not doing enough to make the borough accessible to wheelchairs. They say they want every building to be accessible, but Verdun Mayor Jean-Francois Parenteau says though it is the ideal — the city cannot force them to make the changes. Dan Spector has the story.
