They’re called “calming rooms”. A designated space for students to go to self-regulate when they’re having a meltdown.
But what happens when the room does the just the opposite? According to his mother, that’s what’s happening with an autistic student at a school in Lindsay. And now she’s speaking out. Mark Giunta has this Global News exclusive.
