Re-opening the “Bonjour-Hi” debate

The Quebec Government is weighing the idea of banning the use of the popular Montreal greeting “bonjour-hi”. French Language Minister Simon Jolin-Barrette says this new rule could be included in his larger plan on the protection of the french language, which will be presented in a few weeks.
