Federal Election 2019: Trudeau announces plans to increase student grants, offer two-year grace period for student loan repayment

On Sept. 29 while announcing his party’s platform in Mississauga, Ont., Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau said if re-elected, he’d give students who carry student loans a two-year grace period after graduation without payments or interest.
