Federal Election 2019: Chrystia Freeland says Ford government wanted retaliatory tariffs lifted

Liberal Party candidate Chrystia Freeland said on Monday, following a rally in Windsor, Ont., that Ontario Premier Doug Ford called for the Trudeau government to lift retaliatory steel and aluminum tariffs, a move she said would have been “unilateral surrender.”
