Rohingya refugees being sent back to Myanmar fear torture, persecution

Authorities in Bangladesh, along with the United Nations’ refugee agency, are hoping to begin repatriating Rohingya refugees. They have started consolations with more than 3,000 of the refugees to find out if any wish to go back to Myanmar, but those who spoke to Reuters were deeply opposed to the idea, one saying he would rather “drink poison”.
