Not clear how 2019 budget will help with backlog of asylum claims: auditor general

An expert with the Office of the Auditor General said Tuesday that it was “not clear” how the 2019 budget would help with the backlog of asylum claims and that the backlog is now worse than it was when the system was last reformed.
