The Quebec College of Physicians has agreed that nurse practitioners should be independent and allowed to establish their own guidelines. Quebec’s health minister says a bill will be tabled in the fall so that the nurses will no longer have to work under a doctor’s supervision. Global’s Raquel Fletcher explains.
