Scots in Cobourg celebrate Robbie Burns Day

The Cobourg Lions Community Centre was filled with the flavour and flair of Scotland on Saturday night with a “Robbie Burns Dinner and Ceilidh”

It was hosted by organizers of the annual Cobourg Scottish Festival and Highland games.

Tartan was the colour of choice as the Scottish bard was remembered with haggis and shortbread, more than a dozen Scottish Highland dancers, and of course the Cobourg Legion Pipes and Drums.

The evening was a fundraiser for the 56th Cobourg Scottish Festival and Highland Games set for June 14-15
