Thomas O’Connor, the President of the FBI Agents Association, made a plea to end the government shutdown on Tuesday, saying at a news conference: “The failure to fund the FBI undermines essential FBI operations such as those designated to combat crimes against children, drug and gang crimes, terrorism.”
