Following a visit to a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) detention centre in Alamogordo, New Mexico, Rep. Jerry Nadler raised concerns about President Trump’s upcoming address to the nation regarding border security. “I expect the President to lie to the American people,” he said. Nadler was par t of a delegation led by Rep. Joaquin Castro to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of 8-year-old Felipe Gomez Alonzo, of Guatemala, in CBP custody.
