Thu, Jan 3: The 180th Gold-Headed Cane award was handed out at the Port of Montreal on Thursday. The award is given to the first ocean bound ship to reach the port at the beginning of the year. The Virginiaborg left Norway on Dec. 20 and arrived in Montreal at 3:50 a.m. on Jan. 2.
