During an end-of-year address on Thursday, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer blamed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's "naïve approach" to handling relations with China for the detainment of Canadians by the Chinese government, saying that the Canadian government should have "unequivocally denounce" the situation and are now left without leverage.
