Russia, Ukraine incident a ‘dangerous escalation’: Haley

U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley expressed “deep concern” on Monday after Russia fired on Ukrainian naval ships and their crews near Crimea over the weekend. Dmitry Polyanskiy, Russia’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, called it Ukrainian “banditry,” while Ukrainian Ambassador to the UN Volodymyr Yelchenko called for swift condemnation from the UN Security Council.
