Trial set to begin for man charged with killing protester at Charlottesville white nationalist rally

The trial for James Alex Fields Jr., the man charged with first-degree murder of Heather Heyer after he allegedly drove his car into a crowd of protesters at a Virginia white nationalist rally, begins on Monday. He faces a sentence of up to life in prison.
