$86M invested in federal law enforcement to combat gun and gang violence: Goodale

Minister of Public Safety Ralph Goodale unveiled a federal funding plan to help combat gun and gang violence in Canada on Thursday. 51.5M of the total funding will go to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to help prevent firearms and other contraband being smuggled into the country, while $34.5M over five years will be given to the RCMP's criminal firearms initiative.
