New CCTV footage emerged on Monday purportedly showing journalist Jamal Khashoggi and fiancee Hatice Cengiz on the day Saudi dissident disappeared. Footage obtained by Turkish broadcaster ANEWS appears to show Khashoggi and Cengiz leaving their apartment in Istanbul’s Topkapi district and heading to the Saudi consulate. Khashoggi, a Saudi national and U.S. resident, went missing after entering the consulate to obtain documents for his upcoming marriage.
