Governor ‘hopeful’ Hurricane Michael downgraded before reaching Georgia

Governor Nathan Deal said Wednesday his state is expecting “a considerable amount of damage” from flooding associated with Hurricane Michael, but is hopeful the storm will be downgraded before reaching Georgia.
