Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre highlights wood turtles and their endangered status

The Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre is often caring for Painted, Blanding’s and Snapping turtles injured by cars while crossing roads to lay eggs. This time, we hear about Rusty the wood turtle, and the dangerous encounters these near extinct species of turtles face in the wild. The OTTC is holding an open house this Saturday to educate the public on Ontario turtles.
