Transport truck blocks Hunter Street in downtown Peterborough
Description
September 13, 2018
A headache for motorists in downtown Peterborough on Thursday afternoon when a transport truck attempted to turn around on Hunter Street West.
It happened just after 2 p.m. at George Street when the truck jackknifed while trying to turn out of a one way side street. Hunter was blocked to traffic for more than an hour.
Police say the truck attempted to back up but broke a fuel line and had to be towed.
