Aretha Franklin: ‘Queen of Soul’s’ casket laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery

Amidst family and friends, “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin’s casket was laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery. Franklin joins a long list of influential people who are buried at the historic cemetery, such as Rosa Parks. Her sisters, Erma and Carolyn Franklin, and her father, Rev. C.L. Franklin are also buried at the cemetery.
