Plenty of commotion at Beavermead Park on Thursday morning – all to help train lifeguards.
A mock emergency drill was held by city lifeguards working alongside medical personnel. Andrea Pade, aquatic coordinator, says the event involved practising rescue skills in and out of the water, and responding to a staged aquatic emergency.
