Marmots gone wild

Three Vancouver Island marmots were released on Mount Washington, part of a breeding program at the Calgary and Toronto zoos. Vancouver Island marmots were almost wiped out in the early two thousands, but thanks to programs like this, they’re slowly making a comeback.
