Asking your child if you can change their diaper raises them to know their consent matters: expert

Deanne Carson of Body Safe Australia spoke to Australian news network ABC on teaching your child about consent. Carson said asking your child if you can change their diaper, for example, will make them aware that their consent matters, even though the child is most likely too young to respond. However, the idea is planting into the child’s mind that consent matters.
