Syria’s Assad dismisses chemical weapons attack claims

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has dismissed claims his army had an arsenal of chemical weapons, calling an apparent attack on civilians last month a ‘farce’ and saying that even if he did have a stockpile of banned weapons, they would not be used.
