Hundreds of United Conservative Party delegates met in Red Deer this weekend for their first policy convention, where they voted in favour of having parents informed when their child joins a gay-straight alliance. But as Kendra Slugoski explains, party leader Jason Kenney says he interpreted the resolution differently and won’t implement it the way members see it.
