South Okanagan flooding challenges residents and officials

Dealing with rising flood waters in one south Okanagan community could worsen the water-logged situation in a downstream community. That’s the troubling situation in the Willowbrook area north of Oliver where sandbagging work is on-going. It’s a challenging juggling act for officials as they try to manage water flows to mitigate flood potential. And the fear is the worst is yet to come.
