Expensive restoration project for Kelowna creek should reduce flood threats
Description
January 23, 2018
It's welcome news for some Kelowna residents whose properties were flooded last spring. A stretch of creek that decades ago was made into a concrete flume is getting a $5 million transformation into a much more natural state. The work should reduce future flood threats. There's also environmental benefits.
