West Kelowna sued after former assistant fire chief fired for drinking and driving

He was an assistant fire chief in West Kelowna, described as an exemplary employee with an impeccable work record. But Kerry Klonteig was busted for drinking and driving while driving a fire department pickup truck. Because of that, he was fired from his job. Klonteig sued for wrongful dismissal and the Supreme Court civil trial is now underway.
