December 11, 2017
One of the most important paintings of Canadian artist Emily Carr has recently been acquired by the Audain Art Museum in Whistler. "Le Paysage" was painted in 1911 during the period Carr was studying in Brittany, France. Whistler's Audain Art Museum houses one of the leading collections of Emily Carr's works.
