It was a cold day Thursday for hundreds of Vernon residents and not just because of a blast of winter weather. It’s hard to heat your home without electricity and the power was out for much of the day. An equipment failure on a 25,000 volt BC Hydro distribution line also disrupted classes at Okanagan College in Vernon.
