A house fire in Nanaimo that claimed the lives of Jason Stephenson, Amberlee Scarr and their seven-year-old daughter Piper has been ruled accidental. Nanaimo Fire Chief Karen Fry explains that it was likely caused by an unattended candle in the early morning hours.
