A Winnipeg ovarian cancer survivor shares her story to build awareness around the fatal disease

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. It’s one of the most fatal women’s cancers in Canada with no reliable screening test, and no preventative vaccine. Charlotte Cook-Dowsett was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a year ago and she sat down with Global News Morning to share her story.
