Peterborough mayor talks city future after GE plant closure

After General Electric announced Friday that it will be closing it’s doors next year, Peterborough’s mayor joined The Morning Show on CHEX to talk about what this will mean for the city going forward. Bennett says he’s optimistic, as Peterborough has seen major plant closures like this in the past. Bennett says no matter what happens, Peterborough will always remain Canada’s Electric City.
