Interest rates hiked to meet anticipated inflation growth

The Bank of Canada raised interest rates to 0.75 per cent on Wednesday despite slowing inflation growth, which governor Stephen Poloz defended as a move to match where inflation rates are expected to be in 18 to 24 months.
