Commuters driving into the West Island from Vaudreuil were forced to use alternate routes on Monday morning due to flooding conditions. Recommended options were the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge on Highway 40, free AMT train service from Vaudreuil-Dorion station and the toll for the Highway 30 bridge was also free. Global’s Billy Shields reports.
