Grieving mother calls on Alberta to declare public health emergency over fentanyl, opioid crisis

Petra Schulz lost her son to a fentanyl overdose in 2014. It’s estimated opioid use caused around 400 deaths in Alberta in 2016 and Alberta Health Services predicts we may see as many deaths in our province again, this year. Schulz is calling on the province to declare a public health emergency.
