Year in review: E-cigarette blows up in 16-year-old’s face

Thu, Dec 29: In January, 16 year old Ty Greer said his E-cigarette blew up in his face, while he was smoking it. It left him with second and third degree burns, requiring multiple surgeries. Unlike cities like Edmonton and Calgary, Lethbridge does not have any bylaws relating to the use of e-cigarettes. Alberta is one of only three provinces where the devices are not regulated.
