Tue, Dec 27: The discovery of Bovine Tuberculosis in a Canadian cow found at an American slaughter plant prompted the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to issue a massive quarantine on cattle producers in the Jenner Alta. The quarantine started in September, and as weeks and months went by, the quarantine grew to 50 properties, and 5 other cattle from the same heard as the first were found positive for bovine TB. The province and the federal government have stepped up to help producers caught in the lockdown, but this quarantine is proving to be far from over. Quinn Campbell reports.
