The International Monetary Fund’s Managing Director Christine Lagarde told the media on Tuesday that she was “appreciative” of the gender equality put forth in politics thanks to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his government. Lagarde also said she was told by a “little birdie” the Canadian IMF chair will be occupied by a woman in November.
