Afzal Chaudhary, the father of a 20-year-old Markham man killed when an aircraft police say he stole crashed in Peterborough last week, told Global News he has been interviewed by the RCMP regarding the “national security issue” raised by the incident involving his son. Chaudhary also revealed his son battled mental health issues, but that he believes it was not his intention to harm anyone.
