Should a parrot’s testimony be valid in court for Michigan murder trial?

Glenna Duram is facing first degree murder charges in connection to the death of her husband Martin. After he died, the parrot went to live with his ex-wife Christina Keller.
It then began mimicking a conversation that appears to have happened between the victim and the suspect, that ended with “don’t shoot.”
