The massive wildfire in Fort Mcmurray is hitting home for residents of Slave Lake. Five years ago this week the town was forced to evacuate and watch portions of its own community burn to the ground. Municipal Affairs Minister Danielle Larivee was one of those Slave Lake residents, and joined Global News Morning to talk about how Fort McMurray residents can learn from the 2011 disaster.
