Mon, Apr 25: The city’s Public Works and Infrastructure Committee heard from many residents and cyclists Monday about the benefits of the 2.4 km bike lane along Bloor Street. The pilot project would stretch between Avenue Road and Shaw Streets but not everyone is on board. Some “destination businesses” relying less on foot traffic and more on accessibility for vehicles worry what the proposed bike lane would do to business. Peter Kim reports.
