A Florida couple who went to the beach on Sunday saw what is believed to be thousands of starfish washed ashore and they caught it all on camera. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission plan on looking into this case and conduct more research. It’s believed environmental factors, including the change in temperature as well as the “red tide” – also known as the algal bloom – caused the starfish to wash ashore.
