Porn video featuring Luka Magnotta no longer available on Amazon.com
Description
September 23, 2014
<strong>WATCH: A porn DVD featuring accused killer Luka Magnotta is no longer available on Amazon.com after an investigation by Global News. Reporter Domenic Fazioli has more.</strong>
MONTREAL - Amazon.com is one of the largest websites in the world.
The e-commerce giant prides itself on being "the place to find anything."
One of the items it was selling recently was a gay porn video featuring <a href="http://globalnews.ca/tag/luka-magnotta-trial/" target="_blank">Luka Magnotta</a> called "Adorable."
<a href="http://globalnews.ca/tag/luka-magnotta/" target="_blank">Magnotta</a>'s picture does not appear on the front cover, but his name was clearly marked on the description page.

On Monday morning, it was selling for $9.99 US, and according to the ad there were 10 movies available.
Montreal attorney Eloise Gratton, an e-commerce expert, calls Amazon's decision to sell the porn video "surprising."
"It's not illegal, but it's unethical," Gratton told Global News.
"He's not convicted yet, but at the same time, by distributing the movie at this point in time, it's almost indirectly making him benefit from this movie."

Global News made several requests to the Seattle-based company for a comment.
On Tuesday morning, 24 hours after our first phone call, we received an email which reads: "Not sure we can help you with this one. The item you referenced is not for sale on Amazon, and we don't have a comment for your story."
The DVD has since been removed from the Amazon.com website.

"They have a history of removing things, when there's pressure to do so," said public relations specialist John Aylen.
"For example, they pulled a cockfighting magazine when the humane society put pressure on them to do so."
Legal analyst Philip Schneider hopes Amazon.com keeps the item off-limits for a while - until the end of Luka Magnotta's legal proceedings.
"Stop advertising it, don't make it available even if people order it, hold it back until the trial is over," said Schneider.

Luka Magnotta's murder trial is scheduled to begin Monday, September 29 at the Montreal Courthouse.
It's expected to last at least six weeks.
He's accused of killing 33-year-old Lin Jun in May 2012.
Police say he decapitated and dismembered his alleged victim, and even videotaped the aftermath of the crime.
