The mayor of Surrey is furious that the federal government handed over a million dollars to the Peel Regional Police to fight extortion, but hasn't given any money to Surrey. A prolific violent offender who threw a brick at a pregnant woman has struck again in Nanaimo and Richmond RCMP have received multiple complaints alleging travel services were paid for but not received from a travel agency in the city.
