The start of the FIFA World Cup is about six months away, and as a host city, Vancouver is starting to see the security net being cast. Surveillance cameras have been installed on the streets around BC Place, and are now being tested. The city is disclosing how much those cameras will cost, but as Paul Johnson reports, the entire security bill for taxpayers remains “elusive”.
