It’s good news for loyal soccer fans hoping to score tickets to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, after it was announced Tuesday that prices would be slashed on some tickets with a new “Supporter Entry Tier,” in hopes of making tickets more affordable. This comes after backlash across the world from fans over the steep cost to attend games, with prices already at the highest in World Cup history. As Lexy Benedict reports, fans in Toronto believe it will open opportunities for people to attend games.
